In July 2003 John & Katrina Nemeth made the decision to move into a larger commercial workshop and become the biggest manufacturer of Stockwhips in Australia.
On the 31st October 2003 we had a grand opening for he new workshop, Marty from Big Brother 2 flew over from Perth for the big day and brought his whip with him that John had made for him earlier that year.
Politicians, clients, friends and family joined in celebrating the great achievement of John & Katrina Nemeth. The theme of the opening was bringing the country to the city for the day and I think it worked out to be a great day.
The Classen Brothers came along to play country music for the day, we also had a horse and cart. John, Travis, Nathan, Carolyn and Adam demonstrated what goes on in the workshop on a daily bases.
We also had 3 generations of Nemeth's ( John, Brian and 4 year old Mark) doing some whip cracking and then we also had the professional whip crackers show us how it is really done.
Thank you to Charles and Daniel Hollingsworth for traveling up from Glen Innes for the opening
